The Balrog of Morgoth has exactly one setting: absolute annihilation. This is a creature that shattered a bridge, dragged a wizard into an abyss, and made an entire Fellowship sprint for their lives. It burned for ten thousand years in the depths of Khazad-dûm before anyone was unlucky enough to wake it up. That's not a monster. That's a geological event with wings. Bringing that kind of presence into your life takes some heart and 13.75 ft. Lord of the Rings Balrog Animatronic Decoration is built to fill a space the way the real thing filled Moria: completely.
Design & Details
This officially licensed animatronic stands 12 feet tall at the shoulders and hits 13 feet 9 inches when the flame mane attachment crowns its head. The wingspan stretches 208 inches wide, and the figure runs 12 feet deep from front fangs to back tail. Interior metal reinforced boning supports every movement, and the body is covered in detailed 3D latex that captures the Balrog's textured, smoldering surface.
Construction includes a metal base, body, tail, both wings and arms, the top flame insert, power cord, and bolt set. The 110V control box offers a display screen, speaker jack, sensor probe, volume control, on/off and motion detection modes, and a multi-core aviation port, ensuring great versatility in its demonic presence. Even sitting still, quietly threatening any in its domain makes this impressive figure one for the record books... but you're here to see what fire and darkness can do!
The animatronic functions include a panning head, raising and lowering whip arm, flapping wings, mouth movements synced to audio, blinking red eyes, a glowing flame whip, and a glowing flaming mane with remote-adjustable lighting. Official film voice tracks are included. We're not kidding. The Balrog is an event.
