You always have your party invites out to friends before anyone else, so you can ensure the biggest crowd! And you spend Fall scheming up the scariest looks to wear, best tricks to try, and most creative treats to serve!

And then...November 1st hits. The stores sell your beloved candy for 50% off, but now it looks cheap and undesirable. Gone are the Halloween decorations, gone are the spooky haunted house noises—it seems like no sooner does the clock strike midnight on October 31st than your neighbors have forsaken Halloween in favor of Thanksgiving. Their stoops now boast turkey decorations, cornucopias, and colorful dried corn. How sad!
